The KPI Bar and Growth Icons

The KPI bar provides a high-level overview of the key metrics driving business performance. Growth icons are displayed next to each KPI, highlighting the net difference in growth from the comparison period through a year-over-year analysis:

Green icons indicate growth greater than zero.

Red icons appear if growth from the comparison period is less than zero.

Impact of Filters on Metrics

Any filters applied to your data will impact these metrics. Adjustments based on specific criteria, such as time period, policy type, or industry type, will affect the results and provide a more tailored analysis of your book of business.

Key Metrics to Monitor

Accounts

The number of accounts reflects your total count of distinct clients. Tracking this data helps identify trends, improve client retention, and uncover opportunities for expanding your customer base.

Policies

Policies represent the total count of insurance policies in your book. Monitoring this figure aids in evaluating client engagement and assessing the demand for different policy types.

Premiums

Premiums show the sum of premiums across all the policies in your book of business. This cumulative figure is crucial for understanding the overall volume of underwriting commitments.

Revenue

Revenue indicates the total amount generated through the policies in your book of business. Analyzing revenue streams helps identify trends, forecast future revenue, and understand their impact on profitability.
